WEBSITE TERMS
Website terms of use.
Effective October 20, 2026
About these terms
These terms cover the company website and project inquiry process of Lightload Labs LLC (Lightload Labs, we, or us).
Individual software products and paid services may have their own terms. A separate written project agreement governs any work we undertake for a client. If that agreement addresses the same subject differently, it controls for that project.
Using the website
You may browse the site to learn about our work and contact us about a possible project. Use the site lawfully and respect the rights of others.
Do not impersonate someone else, submit spam or malicious content, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with the site, its security, or other users.
Inquiries and project agreements
Submitting an inquiry starts a discussion. It does not place an order, reserve capacity, create a client relationship, or commit either party to a project. Budget bands and timeline selections on the form are discussion guides, not quotes or delivery promises.
Work begins only after both parties agree to a written project agreement and meet any start conditions specified in it. We may decline a proposed project.
The project agreement will address scope, deliverables, fees, payment terms, changes, cancellation and any refunds, ownership and licenses, confidentiality, support, and delivery milestones. This company website does not collect payments or establish those project-specific terms.
Product and service information
Product pages and service descriptions explain our portfolio and the kinds of work we discuss with clients. They do not promise that a product is available, grant access to it, or guarantee a launch date, specific feature, business outcome, or integration.
Any AI functionality, automation, third-party connections, data handling, and human review requirements for a client project must be agreed as part of that project. AI-generated output can be inaccurate and requires appropriate human review.
Website content and intellectual property
The site’s original content, design, and branding belong to their respective rights holders and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Other names and marks remain the property of their owners.
You may view the site and keep reasonable copies for your own evaluation of our services. Except as permitted by applicable law or written permission, do not copy, sell, redistribute, or present our branding or original site content as your own.
Browsing the site or submitting an inquiry does not transfer rights in our products, software, or future project deliverables. Deliverable ownership and licensing are determined by the relevant written agreement.
Information you submit
You retain your rights in information you provide. Submit only information you have permission to share, and provide accurate contact details so we can respond.
We use inquiry information to evaluate and discuss your proposed project, as explained in the inquiry privacy notice. An inquiry does not create a confidentiality or nondisclosure agreement.
Do not submit passwords, payment information, sensitive personal information, trade secrets, or other confidential material through the form. If a project needs a confidentiality agreement, arrange it before sharing protected material.
Third-party sites and services
Where links to third-party sites or services are provided, their own terms and privacy practices apply. We do not control their content or availability. A link alone does not establish an endorsement or partnership.
Third-party tools used in a client project must be addressed in that project’s agreement, including any separate licenses, charges, or account responsibilities.
Website availability and information
We aim to keep the website useful and accurate, but information can change or contain errors. We may update, suspend, or remove site content or functionality.
To the extent permitted by law, the website and its general information are provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or suitability for a particular purpose. Project warranties and service commitments, if any, belong in the separate project agreement.
Limits and your legal rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, this company website.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. Any liability terms for paid work must be set out in the applicable project agreement.
Questions and concerns
Contact info@lightloadlabs.com with a website-related question or concern so we can try to resolve it. This does not prevent either party from using any remedy or process available under applicable law.
Changes to these terms
Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date for future website use. Website updates do not change an existing written project agreement; changes to that agreement must follow its own change process.
Inquiry privacy
Our inquiry privacy notice explains how project inquiry information is used, delivered, retained, and handled when you request access, correction, or deletion.
Governing law
These website terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, subject to any mandatory rights and jurisdiction rules that apply to you.
